1 Person Injured In Early Morning Apartment Fire In Reston: Report
One person was taken to the hospital for injuries they received in an early morning apartment fire in Reston on Friday.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel extinguished an apartment fire early Friday morning in Reston, according to a 12:38 a.m. social media post. One person was reported injured.
Firefighters were dispatched to a garden-style apartment the 1400 block of Esplanade Court in the J. Harbor Park at North Pointe complex, after receiving the report for an odor of smoke, according to FCFRS.
After locating the fire in the apartment's bathroom, fire personnel extinguished it.

On civilian was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
As of 10 a.m. on Friday, no information was available about the cause of the fire and the extent damage. An FCFRD spokeswoman told Patch that the fire inspector had not filed his report yet.
