RESTON, VA — Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Reston Row said it will open Davio’s Plaza Bar, a new outdoor bar and dining area, on Thursday in Reston. The restaurant said the space will be located across from the JW Marriott Reston Station and will offer an open-air option for guests at the development.
The Plaza Bar will include handcrafted cocktails, seasonal menu items, premium wines and a selection of Davio’s signature dishes, according to a press release. The restaurant also said the outdoor space will have lounge and patio seating overlooking Comstock’s plaza.
“We’re excited to introduce Davio’s Plaza Bar as an extension of our restaurant and as a destination in its own right,” Steve DiFillippo, chef and owner of Davio’s, said in the release. “With the volume of activity at Reston Station, this concept allows us to meet guests where they are — outside, social and looking for a great experience.”
The Plaza Bar will have seating for 76 guests, including 16 seats at the bar, according to the release. The space will include six TVs and a dedicated outdoor bar.
Davio’s said the opening expands its presence in Reston beyond its indoor dining room. The restaurant said the Plaza Bar will be open Monday through Sunday beginning May 7.
