D.C. region rents would be higher today without pandemic, data shows (ffxnow.com) โ Reston renters are paying some of Fairfax County's higher apartment prices, with August median rents at $2,253 for one-bedrooms and $2,385 for two-bedrooms, up slightly year over year. A new analysis shows regional rents are still below where they'd likely be without the pandemic, even as Fairfax County communities like Reston remain above the D.C. metro median.
