RESTON, VA — Officers from the Reston District Station of the Fairfax County Police Department are investigating a stabbing that occurred on July 3 in the Herndon area of the county, according to the weekly crime report.

Police say that three juvenile acquaintances were involved in a dispute around 4:13 p.m., when one of them stabbed another in the upper part of their body. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries. This case remains under investigation.

FCPD is also investigating an attempted robber that occurred around 11 p.m., on July 6, in the 2500 block of Centreville Road. Police say a man approached the victim, implied that he had a gun, and then demanded money. The man left the scene in a car, without taking any property.
