Big Data Firm Opens Reston Office

RESTON, VA -- Reston has just snared another tech company, as big data company BigBear Inc. announced that they would be opening up an office on Sunrise Valley Drive.

BigBear, which offers cloud-based big data analytics solutions to both government and commercial customers, opened the new Reston office in addition to expanding office locations in Charlottesville, Va. and its headquarters in San Diego, Calif. The company said in a statement that revenue growth of 220 percent last year has led them to expand their commercial real estate footprint.

The lease will last three years and will include 2,600 square feet of office space at 12007 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 460.

“We’re excited about our new office location in the Washington, D.C. area as well as the progress our work has made serving our nation’s most critical defense missions,” said Frank Porcelli, CEO of BigBear, in a statement. “By having our senior technology experts and engineers located near our customers, it enables the kind of close collaboration that is required to provide the high-level mission-critical support we deliver.”
