• Bomb threat forces evacuation of Springfield Town Center in Fairfax County (fox5dc.com) — Police evacuated Springfield Town Center Tuesday afternoon after a caller claimed 20 pipe bombs were hidden inside the mall, and officers with bomb technicians are still searching the property. Fairfax County Police are urging everyone to avoid the area while they investigate the threat and clear the building, and say more updates will follow as they learn additional details.
