Business Partnership Award from Prince William County Schools

The Assistance League of Northern Virginia has been selected by Prince William County Public Schools to receive a 2018 Business Partnership of the Year Award. Assistance League was nominated by both Yorkshire and Loch Lomond Elementary Schools in Manassas. Both schools participate in the Weekend Food for Kids program, which provides food bags for the weekend to children in both schools as well as to four other Title 1 schools in the City of Alexandria and in Fairfax County. The non-perishable food helps feed children in food-insecure households.

The organization also provides books, clothing, Hair Cuttery coupons and Payless shoe coupons for children in both schools.
