This 8-session virtual workshop guides participants through a series of structured journaling practices designed to deepen self-awareness, clarify identity, strengthen personal agency, and expand emotional and relational intelligence. Each session focuses on a key dimension of inner development:
1) awareness of self
2) identity
3) power
4) time
5) motivation
6) attention
7) rules
8) perspective-taking
Through guided teachings, reflective questions, and take-home practices, participants learn to see themselves and their relationships with greater clarity and compassion. This workshop is ideal for individuals navigating transition, seeking personal growth, or wanting to reconnect with their inner voice.
SESSION 5 — MOTIVATION
This session explores what truly moves you—what energizes you, what guides your choices, and what helps you feel purposeful. Many people spend years driven by expectations, external approval, or achievement. Over time, motivation becomes more internal, meaning-based, and connected to contribution. Today’s session helps you trace the shift from “what I should do” toward “what feels alive and meaningful inside me."
We will explore the concept for a few minutes, then examine examples of how this manifests in our day-to-day life. We will delve deeper by exploring journaling for a few minutes in response to prompts, to emerge from this conversation with greater clarity about our awareness within this dynamic. We will write our responses to each prompt, and you may share your thoughts or the experience of journaling as much as you feel comfortable. We will conclude the session with a wrap-up and a practice prompt.
No need to attend all workshops. Feel free to only come to those that interest you.
