
Cindy Delisi Martin, a longtime hair stylist in Herndon and Reston, died Wednesday after a battle with brain cancer.
Martin, 54, who most recently worked at New Decade Hair Design in Herndon, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2010.
Martin was the mother of Kenneth Brooks, Stacy Brooks and Krystle Martin; daughter of Regina Delisi; sister of Joanne Bendure, Jennifer Newman, Philip, Paul and Chris Delisi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Many friends, customers and co-workers held fundraisers for Martin, a single mother with college tuition to pay, over the last year.
There will be a viewing on Sunday, Feb. 27 at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street in Herndon, from 3 to 5 p.m.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Feb, 28 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 750 Peachtreee St., Herndon at 1 p.m.
Interment will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be madeto “Martin Memorial Fund” (for Krystle’s education) and mailed to TD Bank 1264 Elden St. Herndon, VA 20170.
