Save the Date — RA Board Takes Up the Reston National Redevelopment June 25th

The Reston Association Board of Directors will take up the proposed redevelopment of Reston National Golf Course at their next public meeting:

📍 𝗥𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 — 𝟭𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟭 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗿, 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗔

Open to all members — in person or by livestream. At the June 11th meeting, the Board voted to move the Reston National redevelopment to the top of the agenda. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝟲:𝟯𝟬 — 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼:

  𝟭. 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵: your presence is the strongest signal – You can also register to speak during member comments at the start of the meeting if you choose, you will get 3 minutes – prepare ahead of time.

  𝟮. 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 if you cannot attend in person (𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗲)

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀:

  • The County staff cycle finalize their recommendation on July 9th.

  • The RA Board's position before then is part of the record county staff reviews as this is a county decision, not a Reston decision.

  • Member voices submitted to RA before June 25th shape what the Board puts on record.
