Commonwealth's Attorney Seeks Protective Order Due To Threats: Report
Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano has filed for a preliminary protective order due to threats, according to reports.

FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano has filed for a preliminary protective order after he and his family received threats from a man who his office prosecuted, according to news reports.
Descano received an emergency protective order on April 1, according to ABC 7News, which had obtained a copy of the affidavit Descano filed in support of his request.
Descanso said he was seeking the preliminary protective order after the harassment had escalated from a man who for approximately one year had been sending texts, calls, and emails to him, as well as showing up a personal appearances.
