Conditioning and Independence Go Hand and Hand

Sadly I am watching one of our friends deteriorate just because he doesn't want to participate in any kind of exercise program. He used to be an avid tennis player, swimmer and boater. Everybody has talked to him about his conditioning but he remains content to sit in his chair most of the day.

The really awful part all of is that he complains about not feeling safe traveling anymore because of a lack of balance and conditioning. He blames it on his age and that is the end of the conversation.

Participating in the right kind of exercise program really is the fountain of youth as you get older. Health based exercise programs reduce mental stress, alleviate painful muscles and joints, improve balance and increase conditioning.

It is never too late to start a program to reap all the benefits listed above and more.  Mkae sure your program is health based, safe and effective.
