Data Center Company Signs Major Headquarters Lease At Reston Station
QTS will relocate its headquarters to Reston Station after signing a 77,000-square-foot office lease with Comstock.

RESTON, VA — QTS Data Centers will relocate its headquarters to Reston Station after signing a long-term lease for 77,000 square feet at The Row, according to an announcement Monday from Comstock Holding Companies.
The lease covers the entire 11th, 12th and 13th floors of 1800 Reston Row Plaza, where QTS will occupy approximately 77,000 square feet. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

QTS is a digital infrastructure company that operates data centers across North America and Europe, serving hyperscale technology companies, enterprises and government customers.

"As QTS continues to grow, we are making long-term investments in our people that support our growth plans and provide an unparalleled employee experience," QTS Co-Chief Executive Officer Tag Greason said in a statement. "Reston Station's premier location, accessibility and vibrant business community make it an ideal home for our headquarters."
Co-Chief Executive Officer David Robey said the company looks forward to joining the Reston Station community and creating a workplace that supports collaboration, connection and continued innovation.

Reston Station Adds Another Technology Tenant
Comstock said the lease adds another technology company to Reston Station, the mixed-use development surrounding the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station on the Silver Line. The development includes office buildings, apartments, restaurants, retail businesses and hospitality offerings.

"We are excited to welcome QTS to Reston Station," Comstock Chief Operating Officer Tim Steffan said in a statement. According to Comstock, Reston Station spans about 90 acres around the Silver Line station and is home to several corporate headquarters, including Google, Booz Allen Hamilton, ICF International and CARFAX. The development also includes residential towers, the JW Marriott Reston Station hotel and residences, restaurants, retail businesses and wellness facilities.
