Driver Hospitalized Following Crash In Hunters Woods Area Of Reston

RESTON, VA — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a single-vehicle crash in the Hunters Woods area of Reston early Thursday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m., Fairfax County Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Unit were investigating the circumstances behind the crash that had occurred earlier in the 2300 block of Gallant Fox Court.

Police asked the public to avoid the area while the CRU conducted its investigation. After about two hours, Gallant Fox Court reopened and the driver remained hospitalized.

A FCPD spokesman told Patch on Friday morning that the driver remained hospitalized.
