Paul's Ride for Life is a fun bicycle ride for all cycling levels. The ride starts at the Reston Town Center Pavilion with registration at 7 am. Riders have three options: 10 miles, 20 miles, or 1/2 century (50 miles). The ride takes place along the Washington and Old Dominion Bicycle Trail. There are four rest stops along the route. Registration is $30/adult and $15/child under 18. $35/adult on-site registration. To register or for additional information go to: www.paulsrideforlife.org A raffle featuring a A Trek 7.2 FX Hybrid bicycle will be held. Tickets are $5 each or 10 for $20. This ride celebrates the life of Paul Rossmeissl who died in 2006 from head injuries suffered in a bicycle accident. He donated three organs, bone and tissue that saved the lives of many individuals. Proceeds from Paul's Ride benefit the Washington Regional Transplant Community to support education and awareness for organ donation.
