About Pepper - As part of his professional fitness career, he has starred in more than ten fitness videos. As a Zumba Education Specialist, Pepper is one of the most sought-after presenters today.

Pepper's awards and honors include the Presidential Sports Award, Attorney General Award of Merit, Leadership Award of Excellence from the Health and Fitness Institute, Man of the Year for the American Athletic Association and Instructor of the Year of the American Aerobic Association International. Pep-per has received two Elly Awards: one for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for Smokey's Joe Cafe and one for Best Choreography of a Musical, Let's Go. He is a United States National Aerobic Champion, member of the International Kickboxing Team with two black belts, recipient of the Make Fitness Happen Award from the International Dance and Fitness Association, recipient of the Human Rights Award from the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports as well as an Award of Excellence from the Health and Fitness Institute.

He is founder of the Hip Hop competition category of the AAU, judge for JAMZ (the National Dance and Cheer Championship) and has judged the scholarship awards for the Public Education Dance Alli-ance. Pepper is also a judge for the Sacramento Ballet's Capital Choreography Competition and trainer/master choreographer for world class professional fitness athletes. He has appeared with several celebrities including music sensation Wycliffe Jean, Gregory Hines, Billy Blanks, Bill Belamy and Sinbad. He is mentor and inspiration for the world-renowned Jabbawockeez.

Pepper is a member of Senator Darrel Steinberg's Committee on Youth Violence Prevention and High School Retention. He is co-founder of Dream Collectives, a youth-based life skill enhancement program focusing on choices, self-esteem building, education, test-taking strategies, nutrition, health and fitness, drug and gang awareness/intervention/prevention. He is a Youth Program Instructor for the Health Edu-cation Council as well as an educator for the Elk Grove Unified School District's Nutrition Olym-pics. Pepper is also owner of E.I.E. (Enough Is Enough) anti-bullying project for school-aged children.
