Failed Robbery Suspects Flee Reston Bank In Black Audi SUV: Police

HERNDON, VA — Fairfax County Police released surveillance photos of a black Audi SUV that two men used in an attempted bank robbery in the Fox Mill area on Thursday. Investigators are asking the public's help in identifying the SUV and its occupantTs.

Officers responded around 10:47 a.m., for the report of an attempted robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank at 2575 John Milton Drive in Fox Mill. Two men drove up to the drive thru window and passed a note to a bank employee. They threatened the employee and demanded money, according to police.

A short time later, the men drove off in the Audi without and money. The men did not show any weapons and no one was injured, according to police.
