Fairfax Police Investigate Death Of Reston Man In Custody
A Reston man died Tuesday after being found unconscious in his cell at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — A Reston man in the custody of the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office died Tuesday after being found unresponsive last week in his cell at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center (ADC), according to a police department release.
Christopher Fojt, 30, of Reston, was found unresponsive around 11 p.m., on Thursday, in his single cell at the ADC. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was kept under a physician's care. On Tuesday, Fojt was declared dead.
Detectives from Fairfax County Police Department's Major Crimes Bureau are investigating the circumstances surrounding Fojt's death with the assistance of the Sheriff's Office. Preliminarily, police say there are no signs of foul play. The Office of the Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy.

Fojt was in the custody of the Sheriff's Office and incarcerated since April 21.
