Farmers Restaurant Group To Expand Catering Business: Reports
Company that operates Founding Farmers Reston Station is spending $4.6 million to renovate a building in Maryland for its catering business.

RESTON, VA — Farmers Restaurant Group, which operates the Founding Farmers Reston Station restaurant, is expanding its 2-year-old catering business, according to news reports.
Founding Farmers Co. Catering & Events unit will operate out of a 17,300-square-foot building at 8100 Cryden Way in District Heights, Maryland, according to the Washington Business Journal. The company paid $3.4 million in December to buy the building and will dedicate another $4.6 million to renovate it.
Previously, the catering business operated out of other kitchen space, including an expanded facility at it Tysons location that the company leases from Lerner, according to WBJ's reporting.
