Fire Ravages Reston Home (Video)
All occupants were able to escape Saturday night, but the home suffered extensive damage.

RESTON, VA -- A Reston home was almost completely destroyed after a fire broke out Saturday night, and authorities are currently investigating the cause.
Firefighters responded to the 11900 block of Grey Squirrel Lane just after 9 p.m. and found heavy fire coming from the rear of the structure and extending into the interior, Deputy Fire Chief William Garrett said in a video update from the scene.
Firefighters aggressively attacked the fire and were able to knock it down in short order, but the home suffered extensive damage.

The house was occupied at the time, but everyone was able to escape safely before firefighters arrived.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
