Four Seats Open on Reston Association Board

Are you interested in making an impact on the future of Reston? Then consider running for the Reston Association Board of Directors in the 2015 Election.

The 2015 Reston Association election season has begun with a call for candidates. Four seats on the association’s Board of Directors are open and anyone wanting to be a candidate has until Jan. 30, 2015 to file the appropriate forms.

Four seats will be opening in April of 2015:

• Two At-Large Directors
• South Lakes District Director
  
• North Point District Director (one-year term)*
  

* This position is open in 2015 to fill the remainder of a term of a previously elected director who resigned.

To qualify you must:

1. Be a member of the Reston Association – either a renter or property owner.
2. Complete a Statement and a Petition of Candidacy (listed below).
   
3. If you run for a district seat, you must live in that district.
