Garage Fire In Reston Early Saturday, 14 Units Respond
An oil spill reportedly was to blame for the fire, which was extinguished before it could spread.

RESTON, VA — Firefighters raced to a neighborhood in Reston after a fire broke out in an attached garage Saturday morning, putting out the blaze before it could spread.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to 2288 Dosinia Court to a "report of fire from an attached garage," according to the Facebook page Northern Virginia Fire Buffs, which reports on scanner traffic.
A total of 14 fire and medical units responded to the location at 4:31 a.m.

The fire was caused by a hot oil spill after cooking with a propane burner in the garage, according to RestonNow.
The occupants had safely evacuated, although one person had minor injuries.
