Golf Channel Cast Member at Reston National

Aubrey McCormick, one of the cast members of the Golf Channel's Big Break, will host an open house at on Friday as the club unveils its renovated clubhouse.

The pavilion features new flat-screen televisions, furniture and exterior walls, says course spokesman Nick Lashinsky.  

McCormick is one of 12 golfers competing on the new season of Big Break Atlantis, which premiered Monday (and will air Monday nights at 9 p.m.). She will sign autographs for fans and offer tips to improve golfers’ games from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.

McCormick will also work as an instructor at Reston’s Nike Golf Learning Center at Reston National this summer.

Currently based in Reston, McCormick took up the game at age 18 and earned a scholarship at Daytona State College, where she was a member of its 2003 NJCAA National Championship team.  McCormick played for five years on mini-tours and the LPGA developmental tour.
