Virginia is a toss-up state when it comes to presidential elections. A recent poll showed that Jeb Bush had inched ahead of Clinton among potential voters in Virginia. Bush has not officially declared that he is running for president.
Clinton made a public appearance in fall 2013 in Falls Church to stump for her friend Terry McAuliffe. Now-Gov. McAuliffe headed Clinton’s previous presidential campaign and has also chaired the Democratic National Committee.
