Huge Grand Opening For Reston Chick-Fil-A

More than 100 people camped out overnight for the restaurant opening at North Point Village Center.

RESTON, VA -- Reston's newest Chick-fil-A has officially opened, and it was quite an event to behold.

More than 100 camped out for the "First 100" event Wednesday night, a Chick-fil-A tradition for new store openings where the first 100 people in the door get free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.

"This morning our guests were awoken bright and early to the sound of a blaring trumpet and lined up to receive their year supply of free Chick-fil-A at our the newest Reston location at 1494 North Point Village Center," reads a statement from the company. "Many of the campers then stayed to eat their breakfast and be some of the store's first customers."

The first 100 customers were "led down the red carpet to the sound of 'When The Saints Go Marching In' on trumpet and the banging of pots and pans and cowbells," the statement adds.

The store's regular restaurants hours going forward will be 6 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays.
