Juvenile Driver Arrested After Fleeing From Stolen Mazda 6: Report

A driver and three passengers, all juveniles, flee from stolen vehicle during a traffic stop in Reston on Monday night, according to police.

RESTON, VA — Officers from the Reston District Station of the Fairfax County Police Departed arrested a juvenile suspect in connection with a traffic stop involving a stolen vehicle Monday night in Reston, according to the weekly crime report.

Around 9:26 p.m., an officer spotted a stolen 2008 Mazda 6 near the intersection of Glade Drive and Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston. When the officer tried to make a traffic stop, the juvenile driver and three juvenile passengers tried to run away, according to the report.

Police arrested the driver and identified the three passengers. Petitions will be obtained for their arrest, according to the report.
