'Loud Banging' Awakens Reston Homeowner: Police
The woman went to the front door to find that it had been damaged, police say.

RESTON, VA — A woman was awakened early Monday morning by "loud banging" on her front door at her home near Lake Thoreau.
The homeowner, who lives in the 10900 block of Wilder Point Lane, awoke to the racket at around 4 a.m.
"When she went to the front door, she found that it had been damaged," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

Police don't have any suspects. They are treating the incident as an attempted burglary.
