Here we are! Tomorrow, November 2nd, is Election Day. When we announced the campaign in January, there was a lot of support, yet concern about how successful we will be running in a traditionally Democrat district. However, as the year progressed, we picked up speed, turned heads, and struck the hearts of voters with issues that hit close to home.
Now, on the eve of this historic election. I'm asking you, the voters of District 36, to come out, cast your vote, and choose me as your next Delegate in the Virginia General Assembly.
I've spent the year meeting you at events, talking with you on your doorsteps, and walking with you on the streets. Many longtime residents said that you've never met with your Delegate or heard from him, other than a piece of mail. When I'm elected, that will change.

Whether you are a; business leader, business owner, worker, parent, newcomer, lifelong resident, longtime Democrat, or first-time voter, I've heard the same chorus again and again…" It's time for a change. Forty years is too long." Choose a representative who will listen to what you have to say, meet you where you are, and respond to you.
I've put in the sweat equity, and I'm just getting started. I'll approach this job from the same angle as I have always done, from the perspective of those the laws affect, not from a three-page brief, prepared by an interest group.

I know how you feel. I've been in your shoes. Whether it's as a parent, an employee, a first responder to a crime, or a concerned neighbor, I understand how the laws created affect a person.
I'd like to thank everyone for an amazing year. Your encouragement and enthusiasm have kept me motivated and brings us to where we are right now. Please get to your polling stations tomorrow and cast your ballot for District 36's next chapter. It's long overdue!
