Herndon-Reston Indivisible To Rally For Equality, Freedom And Rights
Herndon-Reston Indivisible in Reston will support equality, freedom and rights for all on Sunday, June 14.

RESTON, VA — Herndon-Reston Indivisible will host an Equality, Freedom & Rights Rally on Sunday at the corner of Reston Parkway and Bowman Towne Drive in Reston.
The event, part of the No Kings series of demonstrations, is scheduled for 4 to 5 p.m. Organizers said the rally is intended to support equality, freedom and rights for all while raising awareness about proposed constitutional amendments expected to appear on the November ballot.
According to organizers, the proposed amendments include issues related to marriage equality, reproductive freedom and voting rights.

Participants are encouraged to bring signs, flags and friends. The event is open to the community, and registration is available through Mobilize.
Organizers said No Kings-associated events are committed to nonviolent action and expect participants to act lawfully, de-escalate potential confrontations and avoid bringing weapons of any kind, including legally permitted weapons.
