Police Release Photo of Suspect in Dec. 15 Bank Robbery in Reston
This is the seventh bank robbery in Fairfax County in December 2014.

Fairfax County Police released a photo Tuesday morning of the suspect in the Dec. 15 Reston bank robbery.
On Monday, the PNC Bank, located inside of a Giant grocery store at 1450 North Point Village Center in Reston, was robbed at around 4:45 p.m., according to police.
There was no explanation Tuesday from the FBI or police on why they are releasing the Dec. 15 suspect photo two weeks after the robbery or why a photo is not available from the Monday robbery.

The suspect on Monday reportedly threatened the teller, demanded cash, took it and fled. There were no injuries. This is the 7th bank robbery in Fairfax County in December 2014; and the 19th so far in all of 2014. There were a total of 19 in 2013, 8 in 2012, 27 in 2011 and 20 in 2010.
The suspect was black, around 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 pounds and unshaven. He wore a red Nike hoodie and the hood was on his head during the crime.

The FBI investigates bank robberies, along with local law police personnel.
