Police: Third Suspect in Custody in Connection with Reston Robbery, Shooting
Incident took place Sunday, May 17 and was originally thought to be a home invasion, police said.

Fairfax County Police announced today they have identified a third suspect in connection with the robbery and shooting incident that occurred Sunday, May 17 in Reston, in the 11600 block of Stoneview Square.
Warrants for robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony have been obtained for Jalan Merrill, 21, of the Herndon area, police said.
Police identified the deceased in the May 17 Reston robbery as Rashad Kejuan Daye, 24 of the Herndon area.

Merrill was taken into custody this afternoon in Leesburg Wednesday afternoon, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, police said. He will be transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, according to police.
The investigation is continuing.
