Rash Of Burglaries Strike Reston
Numerous reports of significant burglaries in the Reston area have been reported in recent days.

RESTON, VA — Restonians are on edge after a number of burglaries were reported in the Reston area in the last few days.
In the Fairfax County Police Department's latest crime report posted Friday, police listed two burglaries e 10in the Reston District Station on Thursday, both in the Great Falls area.
At a home in 10000 block of Columbia Street between 11:30 and 3:30 p.m., the victims left their homes to go shopping, and when they came home they found someone had broken in and stolen jewelry, the report states.

The second incident happened between 12 and 6 p.m. in the 900 block of Redberry Court. The victim left for work and returned to find that someone had burglarized his home, jewelry, handbags, and alcohol.
Earlier this week, a victim returned from a trip to his home in the 11400 block of Links Drive and found that someone had entered his residence and stolen a laptop sometime betwee 9/3 and 9/4, according to a police report.

And perhaps most disturbing of all, someone broke into a persons house and burglarized him when he was sleeping. Police say a man went to bed Monday night at his home on Lake Anne and woke up to find he had been burglarized.
Police were called to the 11400 block of Waterview Cluster to a report of a burglary on Tuesday, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"The victim reported that he went to bed around 11 p.m. and someone came in and took his car keys, car, wallet, and two laptops," the report states. "During the investigation, the car was located and processed
for evidence."
Police don't have any suspect information yet.
