Home Break-In Reported in Reston District

A resident in the Reston Police District contacted Fairfax County Police Wednesday afternoon regarding a burglary at their residence in Herndon.

The victim told police that an unknown person broke into their home on the 11500 block of Southington Lane at approximately 2:10 p.m. Wednesday and took property.

Police are still investigating the case, and it was not reported how much was taken. Police have not provided a description of any possible suspects.
