Reston/Herndon Restaurant Violations: Employee Does Something Gross
Fairfax County reported violations at Wood Oak Cafe, Crisp and Juicy, and others on July 8-18.
RESTON/HERNDON, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts inspections of Reston and Herndon restaurants. Reports are generally posted about a week after the inspection. We've listed the violations from inspections at local restaurants -- including an employee touching a trash bin and then going right to preparing food at Bonchon Chicken in Herndon -- from July 8-18, the most recent dates available.

Critical violation: Observation (REPEAT) (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The following food item(s) were observed cold holding at improper temperatures using a calibrated food temperature measuring device: 1) cooked sausage 45F, cooked chicken 55F, pico de gallo 45F all in True 3dr preptop cooler
Non-critical violation: Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A food employee was observed cleaning their hands in a food preparation sink or in a mop sink.
