Reston Hospital Center's NICU Recognized For Exceptional Service

RESTON, VA — For the second year in a row, Press Ganey has recognized Reston Hospital Center's 29-bed, Level III neonatal intensive care unit for being among the top 5 percent of healthcare providers in delivering service. The NICU was the recipient of the 2023 Human Experience Guardian of Excellence Award.

“We are particularly proud of this award as it honors the outstanding work of our care teams putting human experience at the heart of healthcare,” said Laura-Anne Cleveland, chief nursing officer. “Our NICU team and our staff work collaboratively with Children’s National Hospital neonatologists. We know our role is to really act as guardians to our tiniest patients and provide a multidisciplinary, personalized, family-centered care approach, which allows new parents to be very involved with their newborns during their stay in the NICU.”
