Reston IT Firm To Invest $366K To Expand Footprint In Fairfax County
Due to an increased demand for its services, Dev Technology Group is investing $366,000 to expand its business to accommodate 90 new hires.

RESTON, VA — Thanks to increased demand for Dev Technology Group's services, the information technology services company has committed to investing $366,000 to expand its presence in Fairfax County, according to a release. The company already occupies offices in the Commerce Executive Park on Commerce Park Drive in Reston.
“As a federal contractor, Dev Technology has selected to continue its growth in Fairfax County due to the proximity of clients and access to highly skilled employees, including veterans,” said Kendall Holbrook, CEO of Dev Technology, in a release. “In addition, Northern Virginia is a diverse and inclusive community that allows us to attract and retain people of all backgrounds, which ultimately makes our company stronger and more resilient.”
The new investment announced on Monday will see the company expand by additional 10,000 square feet of office space in order to accommodate 90 new hires of IT and software personnel.

“Dev Technology Group is a Virginia success story that bolsters our booming IT industry while providing critical services for the government and 21st-century jobs for civilians and veterans,” Gov. Glenn Youngkin said, in a release. “We are proud to see a longstanding corporate partner benefit from the Commonwealth’s diverse, world-class technology talent that catalyzes growth.”
Caren Merrick, Virginia's secretary of commerce and trade, echoed Youngkin's comments, adding that Dev Technology's reinvestment signaled that Virginia was a "premier location" for IT services.

"Dev Technology Group’s decision to increase its footprint in Fairfax County is a win for the region and the Commonwealth, and we are pleased that the Virginia Jobs Investment Program can support the company’s employee recruitment and training," Merrick said, in a release.
Fairfax County Board Chair Jeffrey McKay and State Sen. Janet Howell both congratulated Dev Technology for the increased demand for its services and its decision to continue to grow in the county.
“I’m proud of all the work we have done as a community to keep Fairfax County the kind of diverse and vibrant community that fosters this kind of economic growth," McKay said, in a release.

Founded in 1998, Dev Technology Group provides IT services and solutions for its government customers, including the Department of Homeland Security, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Army National Guard, Army Corps of Engineers, Defense’s Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office, the United States Geological Survey, DARPA, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, among others.
