Reston Man Finds Strange Woman In His Kitchen Stealing Pizza: Police

The man was in his bedroom when he started hearing noises coming from his kitchen.

RESTON, VA – A woman faces a charge of burglary after police say she walked into someone's home in Reston and raided the fridge in the wee hours of last Friday morning.

Police say that at around 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 8, a resident in the 1500 block of Northgate Square was in his bedroom when he "heard noises coming from his kitchen," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

"When the victim looked to see what the noises were, he saw the refrigerator door open and a box of pizza on the table," the report states. "He then saw a woman sitting on his counter next to the kitchen."

The woman bolted after the victim told her he was calling the police. Police later arrested 45-year-old Blanchee Smith, who was charged with burglary at night to commit felony.
