Reston's Donna Miller Thibault, 69
Accountant, "Best of Reston" winner died in Florida Dec. 24.
Donna Miller Thibault, past president and current treasurer of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors and a 2004 "Best of Reston" winner, died of cancer in Naples, Fla., on Dec. 24.
Mrs. Miller Thibault was born on July 31, 1942 in Washington, DC, the daughter of William and Angela Miller. She received her undergraduate degree in accounting, as well as an MBA, from the University of Maryland. She was a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Investment Planner in Virginia.
Mrs. Miller Thibault's professional career included 25 years of federal service as director of Investigative Support at both the IRS and the General Services Administration.

Mark Ingrao, president of CEO of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, said Reston has lost "an unbelivable pillar of the community."
"Donna was one of the strongest chamber supporters we could have asked for," he said. "She was one of the reasons this chamber got back in the right direction. She was a great support to me. I lost a great friend."

In 1991, she formed Donna Miller Associates, a CPA firm in Reston. That firm is now called MillerMusmar and is the 24th largest CPA firm in the greater Washington area.
She was on several boards, including as director of Main Street Bank in Northern Virginia, and had been involved in many community organizations, including the Embry Rucker Community Shelter.
After 9/11, MillerMusmar helped a group called the "Pentagon Angels" by providing tax services and financial planning to surviving family members of people killed on that day. Her firm also provided financial planning and tax seminars to seniors at Tall Oaks Assisted Living facility in Reston.
She is survived by her husband, Mike, formerly co-chairman and commissioner of the Congressional Commission on Wartime Contracting in Iraq and Afghanistan and now an executive with DynCorp International.
She is also survived by her daughter, Angela Cunningham of Boston; her son, Jason Cunningham of Alpharetta, GA; and brother Rick Miller.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec. 30 at 4 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL 34109.
There will also be a memorial Service in early January in Reston.
