Reston Shooting Victim Remains Hospitalized; No Suspect Identified

RESTON, VA — A man who was shot multiple times in a Reston parking lot on Tuesday night remains the the hospitalized, according to a Fairfax County Police blog post.

Officers responded around 11:42 p.m., to the 1900 block of Isaac Newton Square for the report of a shooting. After finding the victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds, officers administered aid until medical personnel arrived. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries, according to the release.

Even though police found the victim outside of his vehicle, investigators believe that the shooting happened inside the vehicle and that it was not a random event, according to police. No suspect has been identified in this case.
