Reston Startup Will Take Your Car in for Repairs, And Give You a Loaner
VTA Valet says they can do it all for just $15.

It's always a pain to get your car repaired -- you have to take it to the shop, as well as either wait a few hours or get a ride from someone else if the car has to stay a while. But a new startup in Reston is aiming to solve those annoyances for locals.
VTA Valet is teaming with Virginia Tire & Auto to launch "Northern Virginia's first full service on-demand auto repair platform," according to a statement.
"VTA Valet’s innovative technology eliminates the need for customers to visit an auto repair shop by offering on-demand car pick up and drop off anywhere in the Northern Virginia area, a complimentary loaner vehicle, as well as a fully transparent online booking process complete with real time tracking and status updates," the statement adds.

And it won't cost you an arm and a leg -- VTA Valet says it will only charge $15 for picking up the customer's vehicle at any location in Northern Virginia and dropping off a complimentary loaner vehicle. The VTA Valet team member will take the car to the nearest Virginia Tire & Auto, and return the vehicle once repairs are complete.
In addition, the online booking platform will allow customers to get status updates on both the car's location and the progress of repairs.

"Our mission at VTA Valet is to make people's’ lives easier and less stressful," Julie Boncarosky Holmes, President of VTA Valet, said in the statement. "As a busy mom and working professional, I know first-hand how difficult it can be to find time in the day to visit a repair shop, where inconsistent service and lengthy wait times often loom. We created VTA Valet because we saw an immediate need for a car repair service that caters towards busy professionals and consumers who are constantly on-the-go, but without sacrificing quality."
