Reston Student Sings National Anthem At Hershey Bears' Season Opener
As part of the Milton Hershey School's performance choir, a Reston student sang the National Anthem at a recent minor league hockey game.

HERSHEY, PA — Othniel Lightfoot-Taylor of Reston recently performed the National Anthem in front of more than 10,000 fans at the first game of the 2024 American Hockey League season for the Hershey Bears hockey team.
As a member of the Milton Hershey School's performance choir, Lightfoot-Taylor and his fellow students at the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
An affiliate of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins, the Bears invited the MHS performance choir to help them kick-off their first home game of the season. The Bears defeated the Belleville Senators, 1-0. The team also celebrated their 2023 Calder Cup win.
