Reston Swim Team Association's summer swim season is barely finished, which means it is time to think about winter swim.
Registration for Winter Swim began Aug. 9, and RSTA officials encourage anyone who wants a place for their swimmer to not wait.
Fall sessions will be:

* Sundays, 6:00 - 7:00pm; September 19 - December 5 (no swim October 10 or November 28). Ages 6-10. $135.
* Tuesday/Thursday, 7:00 - 8:00pm, September 21 - December 2 (no swim November 25). Ages 9 and up. $200.
The Sunday session ($135) is ideal for the younger swimmer, as this program focuses on developing proper stroke technique. The weekday sessions are for more experienced swimmers looking to advance their technique.
All sessions will be held at the Reston Community Center pool located at 2310 Colts Neck Road in Reston, Virginia.

To register online, visit www.rsta.org. During the online registration process, parents will need swimmer's times for each legal stroke their children swim. If a swimmer does not have a time for a stroke, leave the box blank.
