Show Senior Citizens Some Love on Valentine's Day.
Your donation keeps seniors moving!

This Valentine’s Day, help Herndon senior citizens remain connected to the community by making a donation to Herndon Village Network (HVN). HVN is the local nonprofit that helps non-driving seniors visit their doctors, pick up their prescriptions, buy groceries, and more! This more organized concept of neighbors helping neighbors encourages older residents to age in the Herndon community and allows them to maintain established routines and connections, which results in a higher quality of life. To make a donation, please visit https://herndonvillagenetwork.org/donate/.
Herndon Village Network (HVN) currently serves over 100 senior citizens, who pay a one-time $20 registration fee for unlimited access to day and evening transportation on weekdays and weekends.
- In 2019, HVN drivers provided senior citizens 908 rides, totalling 19,578 miles.
- In 2020, HVN continued its essential services through the pandemic, helping senior citizens stay healthy by providing them private transportation to accomplish “must do” errands. HVN also offered to run these errands for senior citizens and to give them shelf-stable groceries every other month. HVN is continuing these services in 2021.
