Sketch Of Suspect In Reston Assault, Robbery Released: FCPD
Fairfax County police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in a Feb. 16 robbery and assault in Reston.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County police detectives released a composite sketch on Monday of a suspect wanted for an assault and robbery that occurred last month in Reston, according to authorities.
Officers were dispatched around 2:45 p.m. on Feb. 16 to the 12000 block of Edgemere Circle to investigate the report of a robbery.
"The victim reported seeing a man lying on the ground, possibly hurt," according to the incident report. "When he approached, the suspect jumped up, assaulted him, and stole his credit cards."

Police described the suspect as an older white man with gray hair and a scraggly beard. He was wearing a black puffer jacket with a black hood, which was pulled up at the time of the robbery.
