Someone is Stealing Christmas Decorations in Reston

A thief made off with a Frosty the Snowman sculpture and other holiday decorations in one neighborhood recently, police say.

RESTON, VA — A local grinch is trying to steal Christmas in one Reston neighborhood -- literally.

Police were called to the 11200 block of Stones Throw Drive at around 9 p.m. on Dec. 15 after a resident reported that someone had stolen a Frosty the Snowman sculpture in front of their house.

After investigating, they found that various holiday decorations had been stolen from no fewer than seven other homes in the neighborhood, according to Fairfax County Police.
