Speed, Narcotics Suspected In Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash: Detectives
Two people from Reston and one from Herndon were killed in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning on West Ox Road, according to police.

RESTON, VA — Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Unit believe that narcotics and speed played a role in a fatal single-vehicle crash that left two people from Reston and one from Herndon dead on Monday morning.
Officers responded around 3:55 a.m. on Monday to the overpass of West Ox Road and Route 29 in the Legato area for the report of a single-vehicle crash.
Investigators determined that a 2024 Acura Integra driven by 46-year-old Corey Rogers of Reston was heading southbound on West Ox Road, according to police. While attempting to make a turn, he struck a cement jersey wall. Rogers and the two passengers in the car, 44-year-old Angela Connor of Reston and 35-year-old Salma Monastra of Herndon were declared dead on the scene.
