Springfield Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Reston On Friday: Police
A 37-year-old Springfield man was killed Friday night from injuries he received in a crash involving a motorcycle in Reston.

RESTON, VA —A 37-year-0ld Springfield man died Friday night in a motorcycle crash in Reston, according to Fairfax County Police.
Officers responded around 7:53 p.m., for the report of a crash involving a 2007 Yamaha R6 and a 2005 Toyota Sienna at the intersection of Fairfax County Parkway and Sunset Hills Road.
Investigators determined that the motorcycle, which was operated by Dominique Hunt-Brown, was heading southbound on the Fairfax County Parkway, when the driver of the Sienna attempted to make a left turn onto the parkway from Sunset Hills Road. Hunt-Brown disregarded the the red light and struck the Sienna, according to police.

Hunt-Brown was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries, but he was later pronounced deceased, according to police. Investigators are working to determine whether speed and alcohol were factors in the crash. No other injuries were reported.

The crash on Friday in Reston was the seventh non-pedestrian-related fatal crash in Fairfax County this year, according to police. During the same period in 2022, there were four non-pedestrian-related fatal crashes.
