Taste of Reston 2016 Needs Volunteers ASAP

The "No. 1 Food Festival in Northern Virginia" wants you to be a volunteer.

Taste of Reston 2016 is just a couple weeks away, and the event still needs people working behind the scenes -- and you can even promote your business in the process, according to a statement.

About 300 volunteers are expected at the event on Saturday, June 18, and organizers are welcoming anyone who is willing to participate -- co-workers, friends and even neighbors.

If you're able to get four volunteers to cover at least one volunteer shift, you'll be officially declared a "team," which means you'll get your company name listed on the event website and signage. You'll also get 12 tickets per volunteer to enjoy the event itself, and a T-shirt for each volunteer.

"Taste of Reston, produced by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, is the largest outdoor food festival in the area and has been voted 'Northern Virginia’s Best Food Festival' by Virginia Living magazine since 2012," according to the site. "Join us this June at the Reston Town Center for two days of restaurants and community vendors, live entertainment on three stages, the Family Fun Zone! and our Wine ‘n Dine area."
