US Navy Re-Ups With SAIC, Awards $249M Contract
The U.S. Navy awarded a $249 million Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to the Science Applications International Corporation.
RESTON, VA — U.S. Navy recently awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a $249 million ceiling to the Science Applications International Corp, which is headquartered in Reston.
The contract will allow SAIC to continue supporting Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division’s combat instrumentation platforms, according to a company release.
“SAIC’s expertise in systems integration and engineering provides solutions to support the U.S. Navy’s testing and training needs,” said Bob Genter, president, Defense and Civilian Sector at SAIC, in a release. “We are excited to build on our progress and continue our work at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.”

As part of the contract, SAIC will continue providing design and integration, hardware and software upgrades or modifications for the Navy's Combat Environment Instrumentation Systems.
SAIC's headquarters is located at 12010 Sunset Hills Road in Reston.
