Victim Seriously Injured In 3-Vehicle Crash In Reston Now In Stable Condition: Police
Victim seriously injured in Wednesday's three-vehicle crash in Reston is now in stable condition, according to police.

RESTON, VA — A passenger who was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday in Reston was no longer suffering from life-threatening injuries on Thursday around 9:30 a.m., according police.
"The person was upgraded to stable condition," said Sgt. Jason Chandler, a public information officer with the Fairfax County Police Department.
Officers from FCPD's Crash Reconstruction Unit were on the scene around 12 noon on Wednesday of the crash at Wiehle Avenue and Baron Cameron Avenue.

In addition to the passenger who was seriously injured, three other occupants involve in the crash were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Chandler did not have information about their conditions on Thursday morning.
The Crash Reconstruction Unit was able to determine that one of the vehicles ran a red light and struck the other vehicles, according to Chandler. The victim who was seriously injured was a passenger in the striking vehicle.

"The at-fault vehicle was charged with reckless driving," he said.
